Commerce settings
Per-branch payment methods, points earn rates, the order review gate, service channels and wallet policy. Sample configuration only.
Payment
Accepted payment methods
What this branch will take. A method switched off here disappears from the member's payment step and from the counter's tender drawer, whatever an individual product allows.
Rule shown here
Pay at Counter is a sequencing choice, not a payment method. The order is accepted with nothing charged; the tender — Cash, Wallet, e-wallet or Points — is chosen and captured at the counter when the food is handed over. Cancelling such an order refunds nothing, because no money ever moved.
Rule shown here
Switching off Cash here does not switch off the cash top-up desk below — the two are configured separately, because a branch may want to sell for wallet money only while still accepting cash to load that wallet.
Loyalty
Points earn rates by tender
Points are earned on what a member spends, at a rate that depends on how they paid. Sample rates only.
| Tender | Rate | RM 100 spend earns | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cash | 2 pts / RM 1 | 200 pts | Captured at the counter |
| Wallet | 1 pt / RM 1 | 100 pts | Spent from the member's RM balance |
| E-wallet | 1 pt / RM 1 | 100 pts | Same rate as the wallet |
| Points | 0 pts / RM 1 | 0 pts | Paying with points never earns points |
| Cash top-up | 0 pts / RM 1 | 0 pts | A top-up is a transfer, not a purchase |
Rule shown here
Points are a separate ledger in points, never converted into the wallet's RM balance. A mixed payment earns each part at its own rate, and the portion paid with points earns nothing.
Exceptions
Product overrides
Individual products may narrow what the branch allows, or earn at their own rate. Overrides are authored on catalog and summarised here.
| Product | Cash | Wallet | Points | Earn override | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steamed Rice | Yes | Yes | No | Earns nothing | A low-margin side: payable in money, never in points, earns none. |
| Ginseng Tonic Set | Yes | Yes | No | Branch rate | Promotional set excluded from points redemption. |
| Herbal Chicken Soup | Yes | Yes | Yes | 3 pts / RM 1 until 2026-08-31 | Temporary campaign rate, above the branch cash rate. |
Rule shown here
An override can only narrow, never widen. If the branch does not accept Points at all, a product that allows Points still cannot be paid for with them. The member's payment step shows the intersection of the two.
Fulfilment
Order review gate
Whether the counter reviews an incoming member order before the kitchen sees it.
Gate on
Every order lands in the counter inbox. The counter may Accept, Reject or Edit it. Only an accepted order reaches the kitchen board — a rejected one never does.
Gate off
Orders go straight to the kitchen. The counter still handles handover and, for a Pay at Counter order, still captures the tender.
Service
Tables and delivery channels
Where an order can be served. A channel switched off here is not offered to the member.
| Table | Zone | Seats | Status | Actions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| T-01 | Main hall | 4 | Open for orders | |
| T-09 | Garden | 2 | Open for orders | |
| T-12 | Garden | 6 | Closed — under repair |
Billing
Tax management and Service charge
Branch tender settings do not alter tax. Tax included / Tax excluded treatment and Service charge are separately configured and snapshotted with each bill.
E-wallet receipts
Receipt retention and delivery
Successful e-wallet capture creates a durable receipt record. Customer access is authenticated and owner-scoped; receipt content excludes payment credentials.
Rule shown here
Each delivery attempt records recipient, requester, time and provider result. Failed delivery never removes the durable receipt; the customer can download it anytime within Receipt retention. No payment card, token or credential is placed in a receipt or email.
Wallet
Cash top-up policy
How members add money to the wallet at this branch. Cash top-up at the counter is the only method configured in this prototype.
Rule shown here
Credit is issued only after the cash is captured. A member's requested top-up sits at RM 0.00 until a counter operator confirms the money in hand. A top-up earns no points, and wallet money is never refunded as cash — it stays in the wallet ledger.
